Final plenary of COP15 will define the outcomes of the conference

This Sunday (March 29), starting at 3:00 p.m., the final plenary of the 15th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS COP15) will take place. During this session, cooperation agreements will be approved and updates to Appendices I and II of the CMS will be adopted.

The plenary will be chaired by the President of COP15 and Executive Secretary of the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MMA), João Paulo Capobianco, together with the CMS Executive Secretary, Amy Fraenkel, with the participation of delegations from the Convention’s Parties.

The discussions and negotiations leading up to the conference’s final session were held throughout COP15 in Campo Grande, which began on March 23.
